STATES OF WATER, STATES OF MIND, group exhibition 2016

Art 345 Gallery, opening reception.

States of water, states of mind, the latest group exhibition at Art 345 Gallery, features artists from all over the world. The transitory nature of water- it changes states from liquid to frozen, evaporates, condenses, rains down and runs off, and the fact that it is essential to all life served as inspiration for the show.  Many of the included works are done in water based media, some depict water, and others use the ephemeral qualities of water as a departure point.

 The artists in this exhibition and the mediums depicted are diverse, but they are united in their commitment to making enduring images that stand outside of trends and fleeting styles.  This evocative exposition isn’t to be missed.
